Autism Supportive Committee Announcement
It is with great regret that the members of the Village of Rhinebeck Autism Supportive Community Committee bid a fond farewell to one of our Village Committee’s founding members, Dawn Morrison, Northern Dutchess Hospital’s Foundation Director. Since the founding of the Village of Rhinebeck’s Autism Supportive Community Committee in early 2019, Dawn has served and contributed as Northern Dutchess Hospital’s designated ASC Committee member.
NDH is the Village of Rhinebeck’s largest employer and is a vitally important community link to all area community members and visitors who rely upon NDH for many of their local healthcare needs in our own hometown hospital. As the hospital’s representative to the ASC Committee, Dawn has ably and enthusiastically represented the role of the hospital and our local healthcare community in implementing best practices for the establishment of an effective interface with the community’s adults and children, and visitors to Rhinebeck to address the unique needs and challenges presented by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As Dawn is transitioning to a position as Foundation Director in a small rural hospital near Conway, New Hampshire, we wish her the best in working to address those needs in her new community, and we anxiously await the designation of NDH’s new ASC Committee member.
