Zoning Board of Appeals
Our Charter
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) interprets the Village Zoning Law and has the authority to grant variances. The two types of variances are the Area Variance, which allows deviation from dimensional specifications, and the Use Variance, which allows relief from use restrictions. The ZBA also considers appeals from actions of the Village's building and zoning officials. A variance request must first be presented to the Village Planning Board for their opinion. ZBA members are appointed by the Village Board of Trustees and serve five-year terms.
Meeting Schedules: The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the 3rd Thursday every month at 7:00pm as needed. Times and Dates are subject to change. Every effort will be made to post schedule changes to this website and to publish changes via public notice.
