4 Way Stop at Intersection of South St and South Parsonage St

Please be advised that the intersection of South Street and South Parsonage Street will be changing to a four-way stop effective March 1st, 2024 at 3:00 PM.  We are asking all drivers to exercise extra caution at this intersection as residents become accustomed to the new traffic control devices.  

 A quick reminder about 4-way stop intersections:

1)     The first vehicle to arrive at the intersection has the right of way

2)     If vehicles arrive at the same time the driver of the vehicle on the left shall yield the right of way to the vehicle on the right

3)     Bicyclists must follow the same traffic rules as motor vehicles

  *** Please Note:  South Parsonage Street from East Market Street (Route 308) to South Street will remain a one-way.  Traffic will only be allowed to travel southbound ****
