RFP: Rescue Truck

VILLAGE OF RHINEBECK REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

ONE (1) ALUMINUM RESCUE

WITH 500 GALLON PER MINUITE PUMP

AND A 400 GALLON TANK

ON A CUSTOM CHASSIS

Take note that the Village of Rhinebeck ("Purchaser") shall receive sealed proposals from qualified manufacturers for the furnishing of one (1) Aluminum Rescue with 500 GPM pump and a 400-gallon tank on a custom chassis.

Bid specs can be picked up at the Village Hall or emailed by request to: mmcclinton@villageofrhinebeckny.gov

Said bids shall be received no later than 4:00 PM on December 1, 2020 at the Village Clerk’s office: 76 E. Market Street, Rhinebeck, New York 12572. (845) 876-7015.

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR SEALED BID MARKED “NEW RESCUE TRUCK” AND ONE COPY .

RIGHT TO REJECT PROPOSALS

The RFP does not commit the Village to award a contract, pay any cost incurred in the preparation of a proposal in response to this RFP or to procure or contract for services. The Village intends to award a contract on the basis of the best interest and advantage to the Village, and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with all qualified proposers or to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety, if it is in the best interest of the Village to do so.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER

The Bidder shall make accurate statements as to apparatus weight and dimensions. All bids shall include a complete detailed manufacturer's line drawing of the proposed apparatus. Purchaser standards for bidding Automotive Fire Apparatus must be strictly adhered to, and all bid forms and questionnaires must be completed and submitted with the bid.
