Communitywide Climate Action Plan

The Village's Climate Smart Task Force has been working on a Communitywide Climate Action Plan and now has a draft ready for public feedback. Please review the draft and email the Village Clerk, Martina McClinton, mmcclinton@villageofrhinebeckny.gov with any comments by June 23, 2025. 

This draft compiles actions not only from the Village's public-facing governmental operations (in addition to our Governmental Operations Climate Action Plan), but it also brings in projects from organizations, businesses, and institutions in the Village. The goal is to work together towards a greener future. Have a look—we hope you'll be inspired by progress already made and take action in your own homes and lifestyles!
