Request: (1) Area Variance – Proposed increase of permitted signage for the front façade of an existing commercial building in the Village Center Business and Historic Overlay Districts. The total allowed square footage for a commercial building is 30 sq. ft. the variance requested is to increase the total to a threshold of 53 sq. ft. only if the new sign for Halcyon Café is not considered in the overall calculation, but if it this signage is considered to count in the total calculation of signage for 6384 Mill Street then the total amount will not exceed a threshold of 65 sq. ft.  relief of 23 sq. ft. or 35 sq. ft.
