Deferring Water Bills to May 25, 2020

Given that New York State has declared a State of Emergency which affects the residents of the Village of Rhinebeck to the effect that the Governor’s emergency declaration is requiring all non essential personnel to remain at home and while water maintenance is an essential function of the water department the billing is not. The village board is authorizing delaying mailing and payment of water bills covering the Village of Rhinebeck due on April 25, 2020 to be delayed to May 25, 2020 and the Village Board will not be assessing late fees.
