Open Positions for CCA Advisory Working Group

The Rhinebeck Village Board seeks applicants for the Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Working Group. CCA will allow the Village to purchase power in bulk for virtually all homes and businesses within its borders. The CCA Working Group will assist the Village Board in selecting and overseeing a Program Administrator who will run day-to-day operations of the program on behalf of the Village.

This is a volunteer appointment to a 5 person working group, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Village Board. The time commitment will be minimal and will last until the CCA program is up and running. A Village Board liaison, who will also sit on the working group, will be appointed by the Mayor.

The Village Board is interested in pursuing CCA because it aligns with our climate action goals. Applicants should understand the goals and actions recommended in the Village’s Government Operations Climate Action Plan and become familiar with the Rhinebeck Communitywide Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory (found here: https://villageofrhinebeck.org/climate-environment )
