Request/Description of Area Variance: Installed HVAC/Mini Split system that is located within the side yard setback. The regulation for the side yard setback is 10 feet. These specific units are located on the west side of the property. The side yard area variance being requested involves (2) mini split units encroaching in the required 10 ft. setback; one unit encroaches in the setback of 4 ft. 4 inches and the second unit encroaches in the setback of 4 ft. 9 inches. Therefore, the maximum relief sought for both units is 5 ft. 6 inches. This parcel is in the Residential District.
