 PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Village of Rhinebeck will hold a Public Hearing, pursuant to Chapter 120, Section 46, of the Village Law.

 

Said hearing will be held remotely/virtually on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, during the remote virtual/videoconference Planning Board Meeting over Zoom. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Please pay attention to the Village of Rhinebeck website for updates and all other announcements that could pertain to the Planning Board meeting.   https://villageofrhinebeck.org/ OR contact the Planning Board clerk for further information.

The hearings will pertain to the following applications:

Applicant: Navin and Allison Chawla/Chawla-Lascano

Application: Lot Line Adjustment/Minor Subdivision

Legal Address: 28 and 32 Will Tremper Drive, Rhinebeck NY 125720000

Tax ID Grid Number: 6169-07-729951 and 6169-07-724933

Details: To review and allow for public comment pertaining to a proposal for a lot line adjustment/minor subdivision, Navin and Allison Chawla, the owners of 28 Will Tremper Drive, aka “Chawla Property,” seek to acquire 1,506 sq. ft. from the neighboring property at 32 Will Tremper Drive owned by Cesar Lascano, aka “Lascano Property,” and to adjust the property lot lines accordingly. Both properties are in the Residential Zoning District. Mr. Lascano has consented to this application. Chawla and Lascano Properties both contain existing single-family dwellings. Both Properties currently meet all dimensional requirements and will continue to do so after the lot line adjustment. The existing dwelling on the Chawla Proprty is 10.1 feet from the current southern property line. In consideration of the setback requirements in the Village the lot line alteration would increase the setback, while simultaneously creating more uniform and useful yards for each lot.

Details: To review and allow for public comment pertaining to a proposal for a special use permit for a new wine bar/restaurant located at 6384 Mill Street. The location of the property is in the Historic Overlay and Village Center Business Districts.
