Rhinebeck Farmer’s Market 2021

The Rhinebeck Farmers Market begins its 27th season on Sunday May 2nd from 10:00AM-

2:00PM. The market will continue to run outside until December 26th (no market on

December 5th). The market is held at the municipal parking lot located at 61 East

Market Street Rhinebeck, New York.

In order to maintain proper social distancing protocol, the market's layout will again

require "NO PARKING" in the second row of the municipal parking lot. This is in addition to

the permanently marked "NO PARKING" spaces along the back row and sides of that area.

These parking spaces will be unavailable beginning Saturday at midnight, until Sunday at

3:00 PM. Parking is still available as you drive in to the immediate right and throughout the

entire first row (including handicap spaces). The entrance to the lower lot behind the Aroi

Thai restaurant remains open for parking and as a pass through. There is on street

parking available throughout the village.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, our focus remains on providing our local

community with safe access to fresh, local foods. The market will again look different

this season as we open with specific protocols and enforce strict social distancing

measures. Please visit our web-site www.rhinebeckfarmersmarket.com for the full

details. We require that all shoppers wear a face mask the entire time they are within

the market. There is no eating or drinking within the market again this season. We ask

that you shop as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you come with more than one

person, please divide and conquer your shopping list. We ask that you are mindful of

your time spent shopping as we have to monitor our capacity and lines may form to

enter the market.

This season the market will have over 30 vendors. Our new vendors this season include

Sparrowbush Bakery of Livingston, NY and Rock “N’ Raw Edibles (pesto) of Ghent. Mei’s

Dumplings returns again every other week. Willow Pond Sheep Farm is also joining us full

time with new items from their dairy this spring and meats in the fall. Shoppers will also

find fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, eggs, meats, charcuterie, condiments, baked

goods, prepared foods, fresh and dried flowers, wine, beer, hard cider, and spirits.

As we navigate the pandemic, food insecurity is still in the forefront of our minds. Last

summer we placed over $4000 of fresh, seasonal foods in the homes of local families

through our “Feed Your Neighbor” program. Funds are disbursed at the Church of the

Messiah and Rhinebeck Reformed Church Food Pantries each week. This program

provides access to all food items in the market. To donate to this program, please visit

this link: http://www.rhinebeckfarmersmarket.com/shop.html

The market also participates in the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

(SNAP) and the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). SNAP recipients can double

their tokens through the Rhinebeck Farmers’ Market Plus program.
