Special Board of Trustees Meeting Agenda

Tuesday September 26, 2023

6:00 PM

  1. Pledge of Allegiance

  2. CDBG 2024 Public Hearing

  3. Transportation Alternatives Program Public Workshop

The Board seeks public input for the 2024 Community Development Block Grant Application as well as input into capital projects that would encourage walking and biking and improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety in the Village.

The project would be funded in part by the federal Transportation Alternatives Program which focuses primarily on benefits for bicyclists, pedestrians, and other amenities for non-drivers. Applying for this funding would require alignment with and support of Dutchess County. For the discussion, the Board will refer to two documents authored by Dutchess County which would illustrate their support:

“A Village Worth Walking,” 2011

Route 9 Complete Streets Study, 2022

Copies of the discussion documents are available at Village Hall.
