Streetlights

With the purchase of the streetlights completed the conversion to high-efficiency LED's is in process. In addition to saving energy, they have a longer service life. One new feature of the new lights will be a built-in sensor network. In the past, people had to report the pole number to Central Hudson before a crew would be dispatched to fix a problem. Now, when a bulb goes out, the light fixture will send a service call to the repair company.
