Veterans Committee
Honoring the Veterans in our Community
The Village of Rhinebeck Veterans Committee advises on all matters related to our local veterans' community. Committee members work jointly with the municipal government on planning events, care and restoration of Memorials and selecting new endeavors. In addition, the committee will review and discuss new ideas to support the Veteran's and all POW's in the community.
Examples include the restoration and preservation of the Doughboy, Dedication of new flagpole at the Municipal Park, Dedication of new POW flags, restoration of American Legion Park Memorial and planning for Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Veteran's Day events.
The Committee meets monthly (except for during the COVID Pandemic)
