REQUEST FOR MUNICIPAL AUDITING SERVICE PROPOSAL

The Village of Rhinebeck, (hereinafter called “the Village”) Dutchess County, New York invites proposals from qualified independent licensed municipal auditors (hereinafter called “auditor”) having sufficient governmental and auditing experience in preforming an audit in accordance with specifications outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

It is the intent of the Village to negotiate a one-year contract.

All submissions must be physically received by the Village prior to

12:00 p.m. on February 3, 2026

One copy of the proposal is required.  The submission shall become the property of the Village of Rhinebeck without obligation.

 The Village of Rhinebeck reserves the right to reject all proposals, with or without cause, and has the right, in its sole discretion, to accept the proposal it considers most favorable to the Village’s interests.  The Village reserves the right to seek clarification of any proposal submitted.  The Village also reserves the right to require other evidence of technical, financial, or other abilities prior to selection.  The Village of Rhinebeck may make an award based upon initial proposals received without discussion of such proposals with the submitting entity.
