Sidewalk Snow & Ice Removal

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE

          This is a reminder for all Village residents, property owners, and their hired/contracted property maintenance contractors or companies. Please make sure that all sections of sidewalks that may border your property must be free all snow and ice and should be removed within 24 hours after the end of a snowfall/inclement winter weather.           Failure to remove the snow and ice from such sidewalk within the time specified as stated in Chapter 98-6, or within four hours after notice by the Village of Rhinebeck to remove same, the Village reserves the right to remove said snow or ice from such sidewalk and notify the Village Clerk of the expense incurred by the amount of labor, equipment and materials used in said removal.
